Anugraha Anil

I am Anugraha Anil, an independent filmmaker and photographer with a deep passion for storytelling. My journey began with a desire to explore the world through the lens of documentary filmmaking, capturing the stories of people, their cultures, and how they navigate society. Over the past five years, I have dedicated myself to creating films that give a voice to the everyday person in India, showcasing their knowledge, inspirations, and unique perspectives on life.

My work has been recognized internationally. My recent documentary, A Simple Film About Love, created in collaboration with my filmmaking partner, has won several awards at international film festivals. The film explores the concept of love across five generations of families in India and Hungary, offering a heartfelt glimpse into their thoughts and experiences.

With a commitment to authentic storytelling and visual artistry, I continue to build a platform that amplifies unheard voices and shares meaningful narratives with the world. Through my work with VagueSpace Films, a collaborative platform I co-founded, I have had the opportunity to bring diverse stories to life and connect with audiences worldwide.
